Blessed are the children of God whom the Lord has called. When God calls you, He blesses and increases you. God called Abraham and Sarah. He never let them down, as He blessed and increased them on all sides.

Blessed are those who have been called to please God by living a holy life, because they will see God in the end. Blessed are all who put their trust in God and live by faith, not giving in to the enemies’ temptations, knowing God will surely do what He has promised to do, since God never fails. Those who put their trust in men or their own wisdom fail in the end, as they don’t get to enjoy the blessings that come with making God their dependability.

Blessed are those who suffer for Christ. “Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake” . People will hate you, mock you, bear false witness against you because you are a child of God. But you are blessed for bearing all the pains for Christ. Those who hear and keep God’s Commandments are blessed. We must not be hearers only, but doers of God’s Word.

The pure in heart and the faithful will see God. “A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent” . “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him” . God knows about all our predicaments. Our labour for Christ is not in vain. A great reward awaits us.
