Social media has been flooded with passengers complaining about the situation but what about the MYAirline staffs themselves? Were the cabin crew informed about the issue long before the suspension? This cabin crew revealed that it was not the case.One of the MYAirline cabin crew posted a video on her TikTok channel that showed the last moments of her and her colleagues on duty that day.
A few hours later at 3:30am, they were told that the company had gone 'Offline'. It was not mentioned whether they had been informed about the situation at this moment but the MYAirline staff carried on with their duty as usual until they landed at Kota Kinabalu International Airport at 4:37am.
Netizens reacted to the video sympathising with the staff members who had all lost their jobs. Many offered prayers and wishes that they'd be able to get back on their feet soon. Unfortunately, there have been no updates if the MYAirline staff will be compensated after what happened.The video has been reposted on Twitter where many were surprised that even the staff were kept in the dark.
