The Malaysian Automotive Association says total industry sales volume is expected to go up from 604,287 in 2019 to 607,000 in 2020. FMTNews MalaysiaAutomotiveAssociation TIV

Four-wheel drives and sports utility vehicles led the increase in vehicle sales last year, when it breached the 600,000-unit mark for the first time since 2016.

The 2019 TIV had gone past the 600,000-unit mark for the first time since 2016, climbing 0.95% from 598,598 units in 2018. In the passenger vehicles sub-segments, four-wheel drive or sports utility vehicles saw a 64.8% increase to 124,560 units in 2019 against 75,598 units in 2018.
