University of Nottingham Malaysia’s Future Students Centre will act as an international education hub to facilitate interest and convenience for higher education enquiries.

Of the total allocation, RM50mil is earmarked as a matching grant for public universities to collaborate with the private sector to stimulate research and innovation activities that can be commercialised. “Malaysia has great potential in producing cutting-edge research. We believe the additional support of grants and funds is a step in the right direction to address modern-day challenges and advance the nation.

During the tabling of Budget 2024, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said that the plan includes introducing the long-term visit pass for international students who have graduated, to meet the industry’s needs for skilled manpower. In support of the nation’s aspiration to be an international higher education hub with an international tertiary education enrolment base of 250,000 students by 2025, UNM has further invested in facilitating interest and convenience for higher education enquiries with the launch of its Future Students Centre at Menara Axis in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
