Baby girl dies after being left in car at public university

KUALA TERENGGANU: A 16-month-old baby girl died after allegedly being left inside a car at a public university in the Kuala Nerus district on Tuesday .

Terengganu OCPD Asst Comm Abd Rahim Md Din said that police received a report about the toddler who had died when brought to the student health centre at the university at about 4.30pm on Oct 24. “A post-mortem was conducted at the Sultanah Nur Zahirah hospital, last night. We are awaiting the report to find out the cause of death,” he said when contacted here on Wednesday .
