Kota Kinabalu: Water from Universiti Malaysia Sabah’s (UMS) two tube wells will be distributed to the institution’s buildings beginning March 26.

Kota Kinabalu: Water from Universiti Malaysia Sabah’s two tube wells will be distributed to the institution’s buildings beginning March 26.

“Tests on the water content have been identified and the process of distributing water to the buildings and residential colleges is underway,” he told reporters at the UMS Majlis Sungkai Perdana 2024. “This is the result of discussions between the State Government and the Sabah Water Department,” he said, adding the UMS residents’ water needs had been met in recent weeks. At the event, Etiqa Family Takaful Berhad donated RM80,000 to UMS library’s Islamic Corner Collection, in addition to RM10,000 from the Perbadanan Baitulmal Negeri Sabah.
