Setiausaha Agung Umno, Annuar Musa berkata, catatan Twitternya menggesa ahli Parlimen membantah sidang khas Dewan Rakyat bukannya gesaan untuk memboikot seperti dilaporkan sebuah portal berita. “Pengumuman Tun mendahului Agong. Sidang itu bukan saja tidak berperlembagaan, ia juga tidak wajar dari segi prosedur dan tidak menghormati Agong,” katanya kepada FMT.
