NSTnation Bersatu to nominate Muhyiddin Yassin for PM?

PUTRAJAYA: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is not discounting the possibility of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) nominating Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as its candidate for Prime Minister.

Speaking at a press conference after announcing the 2020 Economic Stimulus Package, here, today, the Interim Prime Minister informed that the Dewan Rakyat will sit on March 2 to decide on the country's eighth prime minister. Meanwhile, Dr Mahathir confirmed he is back as Bersatu chairman, after resigning from the post on Monday. More to come Read more: New Straits Times

this will perhaps now lead to vote buying and lobbying over the next few days oh come on NST, UMNO already denied they're going to nominate Muhyiddin. If Tun M nominate Muhyiddin because he chose the safer side, it's like he's nominating Pak Lah all over again.
