Tun M: I want a government that does not side with any party

Interim Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad delivers a special address from the Prime Minister’s Office which was broadcast on all RTM television, radio and social media at 4.45pm. - Bernama: Interim Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said politics and political parties should be put aside, and that he will try to form a government that does not side with any political parties.

He also offered his side of the story of what happened during that fateful Sunday on Feb 23 when several meetings were held to decide the fate of the federal government, followed by his shocking resignation as Prime Minister and Bersatu chairman. “But my party, Bersatu declared to leave Pakatan Harapan. There will also be politicians from other component parties coming out. With this action, the Pakatan Harapan will fall,“ he said.

Mahathir further said he does not intend to hold on to the Prime Minister’s post as alleged by some quarters.

it's not about siding. the pakatan harapan clearly won the GE, then now only ppbm and 11 pkr go out to form alliance with umno pas. the result on 9th may already shows who the rakyat choose to be the new government.

Its should be the rakyat decision not tun....

We also was hoping for that but you went on and created a Malay only party called BETSATU which betrayed you. So why now government without party when you became the PM by co existing with other parties.

Its as simple as you have fail as the executive management of the PH governance !!! Is the true cause and you must accept it as accountable to this !!! You should have resign with dignity and professionally !!! Not with ulterior political as interim PM !!!
