: Jumlah Ketua Isi Rumah miskin tegar di Sabah menurun 42 peratus kepada hanya 13,179 orang setakat bulan lepas berbanding 22,510 orang pada September tahun lepas, kata Yang Dipertua Negeri Sabah Tun Juhar Mahiruddin.

“Kerajaan negeri sememangnya komited dalam usaha membasmi insiden kemiskinan khususnya menoktahkan miskin tegar di Sabah,” katanya dalam Ucapan Dasar Kerajaan Bersempena Istiadat Pembukaan Penggal Kelima, Dewan Undangan Negeri Sabah Ke-16 di sini hari ini. Beliau berkata 219 lokasi di negeri itu telah dipasang VSAT Starlink berkelajuan 100Mbps dinikmati 60,328 komuniti terpencil dan pedalaman, manakala pemasangan sasaran 300 lokasi dijangka dapat dicapai pada Jun ini bagi mengatasi jurang digital komuniti itu.
