"This house is our ancestral home and he used to stay here, but his family moved out about 10 years ago," he said."We are also unsure whether or not he borrowed from loan sharks," he added."My wife and I were awoken by our neighbour's shouts of fire and smoke."We ran downstairs and put out the fire before it got out of control," he said, adding that the back of his wife's car was badly damaged.
