Ahli Parlimen Pasir Gudang, Hassan Abdul Karim berkata, keputusan Peguam Negara, Tan Sri Idrus Harun dan Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia menolak tawaran itu yang diaturkan bekas Peguam Negara, Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali adalah tepat dan betul.
“Mana boleh berlaku tawar-menawar antara si penjenayah Jho Low dengan kerajaan Malaysia. Adakah sistem keadilan di Malaysia boleh dijual beli dengan tawaran RM1.5 bilion daripada Jho Low,” katanya dalam kenyataan di sini hari ini. “Adakah pada pandangan Jho Low bahawa Jabatan Peguam Negara, badan kehakiman Malaysia sanggup bersekongkol dengan penjenayah sepertinya dan boleh diajak berunding tawar-menawar untuk menggugurkan pertuduhan ke atas dirinya jika ada harga yang sesuai boleh dibayar,” katanya sambil mengucapkan syabas kepada Idrus, pegawai Jabatan Peguam Negara dan pegawai SPRM yang mengambil pendirian tegas dengan menolak tawaran Jho Low yang biadab itu.
“Tindakan Jho Low melantik firma guaman Kobre & Kin yang berpejabat di Washington dan seterusnya firma guaman dari Amerika Syarikat itu melantik pula Mohamed Apandi sebagai perantara perunding dengan kerajaan Malaysia, maka tindakan Jho Low adalah pengakuan bahawa dia telah berbuat kesalahan jenayah menipu syarikat 1MDB dan kerajaan Malaysia.
