SHAH ALAM: A man who snatched the handbag from the vehicle of a woman after a collision between their vehicles at KM14.6 of the Federal Highway has been detained.

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Baharudin Mat Taib said the man was detained to assist investigations after he lodged a report on the accident at the police headquarters here at about 6.30pm on Saturday .

"No one was injured during the accident and we are investigating under Rule 10 LN 166/59," he said in a statement on Saturday night.
