Terdahulu, Sultan Ibrahim berkenan menerima mengadap Pegawai Daerah Mersing, Mohammed Shakib Ali selaku Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Keselamatan Daerah di Istana Flinstones, Mersing, hari ini.
Sementara itu, Sultan Johor turut berkenan mempengerusikan satu mesyuarat bersama wakil jabatan, agensi penguatkuasaan serta persatuan selam skuba dalam masa terdekat dalam memperhalusi setiap SOP sebelum dikuatkuasakan.
