JOHOR BARU: Twenty-eight individuals were slapped with compound notices of RM1,000 each for failing to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP).

Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat said the notices were issued during a raid at an entertainment outlet at Jalan Tun Abdul Razak near here on Wednesday .

ACP Raub said the worker was detained for failing to produce a valid business licence and violating the SOP under the transition into the endemic phase of the National Recovery Plan . Police also seized a laptop, a microphone, an amplifier, a wireless microphone and three business receipts in the operation.
