The police can act against those found to have abused their employers’ written approval to move about during the conditional MCO for purposes not related to work, said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. Read more here:

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm S. Shanmugamoorthy said in such situations, the police would immediately contact their respective employers for follow-up action.

‘’There were also some workers who made copies of the letters for their colleagues but it is impossible for all of them to be working at the same time on non-working days. Shanmugamoorthy said the police also detected several individuals who gave the excuse that they wanted to deliver packages or items by furnishing the related documents but further inspections showed that they were actually moving empty-handed.
