“Wooi Yik started playing badminton at the age of six. I was a coach at that time and he used to follow me to training sessions,” said the 65-year-old. Then, the Badminton Association of Malaysia technical director Morten Frost told Wooi Yik to focus only on the doubles.“In the beginning, Wooi Yik and Aaron struggled in their partnership as they were not used to playing with each other at that level. But they became better as they played in more tournaments.
