Smoke keeps visitors away from Penang Hill

SMOKE in Penang was at its worst so far this week and affected the arrival of visitors to Penang Hill. Penang Hill Corporation general manager Cheok Lay Leng noted a drop in the number of visitors, during the current off-peak season which normally sees between 2,000 and 3,000 visitors daily.
