Kok Leong beat Jefrey Roda of the Philippines in the final to ensure Malaysia will return home with a gold medal for the second straight SEA Games. Kok Leong partnered Moh Keen Hoo to win the snooker doubles event in the Philippines in 2019 but the event was not included in Hanoi this time.
