His statement comes after former chief minister Datuk Seri Salleh Tun Said Keruak made a similar call for the registration of GRS to avoid clashes between political partners following the recently concluded Melaka state election.Salleh, who is also GRS Backbenchers Club chairman, said this could avoid a similar situation in Melaka where Barisan and Perikatan contested against each other.
