Sabah DAP Youth urges voters to reject racial, religious politics

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah DAP Youth chief Phoong Jin Zhe has called on voters to reject racial and religious politics, saying such attitudes were no longer relevant.

“This is why Sabahans must vote in political parties and leaders that do not play the race and religious card,” he said during a walkabout here this evening. Phoong went on to say that Warisan president Shafie Apdal was the best choice for Sabahans because " he believes in the rakyat and in unity.” Warisan Plus has erected dozens of billboards featuring an image of Shafie with the slogan “In God we trust, united we must” indicating the coalition’s unity theme in its campaign for the state assembly elections. Polling is on Sept 26.
