“Hari ini juga saya ada perbincangan dengan pimpinan teratas peringkat bahagian untuk perancangan dan strategi bagi pilihan raya kali ini,” katanya ketika ditemui selepas selesai proses penamaan calon di Dewan Majlis Daerah Ketereh di sini. “Tanpa sokongan Tan Sri Annuar dan Timbalan Ketua UMNO Bahagian Ketereh, Datuk Alwi Che Ahmad serta jawatankuasa dan penyokong bahagian pasti saya tidak mampu menggalas tanggungjawab ini.
Katanya, Annuar juga sentiasa memberikan tunjuk ajar dalam setiap gerak kerja yang perlu dilaksanakan sekali gus menggerakkan jentera bagi menyokong perjuangannya.
