| The current political drama over the prime ministerial transition from Dr Mahathir Mohamad to Anwar Ibrahim and the out of ordinary opposition parties' support for Mahathir to finish his full term is raising eyebrows on the integrity of Malaysian politicians in keeping promises.
The substance of the transition matter currently is not whether the future prime minister has the majority support of the Dewan Rakyat. It is about promises being kept on the agreement on the transition and the actions taken that reveal a clear path towards a transition. What is obvious is that such principles are clearly missing due to the vague statements of the prime minister and his flirting with the opposition parties through great power play and intrigue.
They now believe that by predominantly playing the racial card they can win the next the general election. Their understanding about the transition process is about race rather than principles.
Great shot! Indeed body language says it all.
Rakyat have experienced largely same old same old politics. Get that right first and foremost.
In life, one must have principles.
Politicians and principles are two words that don't mix. Numbers = power = 'cash is king'. The reason why 99.90% of them remain as politicians in Malaysia.
Still remember PKR’s absence when Dr Mahathir announced Guan Eng as Minister of Fin in a pc? Anwar’s honchos publicly attacking PM Mahathir less than 3 mths after Harapan formed Govt? Dr Mahathir has kept his part of the deal. Why cry ‘principles’ when u played hard & dirty?
Fact is anwaribrahim drwanazizah and their PKR running dogs never thought that PH will win GE14. That's the reason why they agreed to let Mahathir chedetofficial become Prime Minister. Mahathir has kept his word. He has freed Anwar Ibrahim from prison. Go away Anwar Ibrahim.
Just like PH Manifesto. Full of bullshit principles
