Penganalisis Ekonomi UniKL Business School, Prof. Madya Dr. Aimi Zulhazmi Abdul Rashid berkata, sekiranya dilihat prestasi China, pada suku pertama, jumlah import dan eksport barangan mencecah RMB10.17 trilion , meningkat lima peratus tahun ke tahun.“Perdagangan Malaysia dengan China antara Januari hingga April 2024 mengembang kepada 5.9 peratus kepada RM151.06 bilion berbanding tempoh yang sama tahun lepas.
“Malah, eksport negara juga meningkat 2.1 peratus kepada RM14.1 bilion, merupakan pertumbuhan positif pertama sejak Ogos 2023,” katanya ketika dihubungi Utusan Malaysia. “Ini sekali gus membantu negara mencatatkan pertumbuhan yang begitu baik, dengan data bulan April pada 12.1 peratus mengekalkan momentum positif yang ketara, justeru mempengaruhi pencapaian tahunan 9.1 peratus,” katanya.
