Menurut beliau, pada suku pertama, Keluaran Dalam Negara Kasar telah melebihi sasaran para penganalisis apabila berkembang pada kadar 4.2 peratus berbanding jangkaan 3.9 peratus. “Justeru, eksport produk semikonduktor negara dijangka akan bergerak seiring dengan unjuran tersebut memandangkan Malaysia merupakan pemain utama dalam industri ini,” katanya.
