Malam tadi, polis memberitahu sudah menahan seorang lelaki tempatan berusia 21 tahun untuk membantu siasatan, setelah mendapat makluman daripada orang awam mengenai penemuan kain rentang bertulis ‘Kerajaan Gagal’ di sebuah jejantas semalam, selain sebuah video menunjukkan perhimpunan, pembakaran suar dan kejadian menaikkan kain rentang tanpa mematuhi Prosedur Operasi Standard ditetapkan. – Gambar Twitter, 14 Mei, 2021.
SERAMAI 20 individu telah ditahan polis setakat ini kerana dipercayai terbabit dalam kejadian merusuh di Parit Raja, Batu Pahat, yang tular dalam laman sosial semalam. Ketua Polis Daerah Batu Pahat ACP Ismail Dollah berkata kesemua lelaki yang ditahan merupakan penduduk setempat, berumur 16 hingga 28 tahun.
