Penang tourism players ready for phase 4 of recovery plan

Tourism industry players in Penang are all geared up for more tourist arrivals as the state moves into phase 4 of the National Recovery Plan effective Monday. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, November 6, 2021.

A TOTAL of 250 Penang accommodation operators and travel agencies under the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry’s list of travel operating business and travel are ready to receive more tourists as the state moves to phase 4 of the National Recovery Plan effective Monday. The ministry’s state director Jonathan Freddy Bagang said discussions and briefings have been held with the respective entrepreneurs to increase their awareness of complying with the standard operating procedure .
