Never heard MCA Gerakan making noises about lands sold to MNCs in TRX, Johor, Melaka or any other states other than Penang, not even in the past

In 2008 Penang state govt announced that residential leasehold landowners in Penang could apply to convert the government land into freehold. What has happened to that policy?
