Chief minister Hajiji Noor said Sabahans will be receiving special Covid-19 assistance worth RM4.6 billion under Pemulih as well as aid from the state government under the Bantuan Sabah Prihatin 3.0.
Congratulating Muhyiddin for the Pemulih package, he said the allocation, which included a RM10 billion fiscal injection, is substantial and is what the country needs now to cushion the impact of the third nationwide lockdown. The BKC is expected to benefit over 11 million households, senior citizens and singles in the B40 and M40 income categories in the country.
He also welcomed the prime minister’s announcement that Bank Simpanan Nasional will start running its mobile banking facilities in Sabah from July to give easier access to banking services to people in rural areas.
