KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is allowing more sectors to operate while maintaining the movement control order, says Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

The Chief Minister said this was part of Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan in Sabah starting June 29.

He said some of the activities allowed to reopen with strict standard operating procedures are dine-ins for restaurants and eateries, barber shops as well as roadside stalls for vegetables, fish and fruits. Hajiji said non-contact sports like exercising, golf, fishing and cycling would also be allowed, along with manufacturing activities such as rubber, cement and paint, furniture and woodwork.Article type: metered
