Penanggung insurans dan pengendali takaful akan turut menyediakan bantuan lain kepada pemegang polisi dan peserta takaful yang terjejas sehingga 31 Dis. FMTNews Insurans

KUALA LUMPUR: Penanggung insurans hayat dan pengendali takaful keluarga akan memberi pilihan kepada pemegang polisi dan peserta takaful yang terjejas akibat Covid-19 untuk menangguhkan pembayaran premium atau sumbangan berkala terbabit selama 3 bulan tanpa menjejaskan perlindungan tersebut, kata Bank Negara Malaysia .

“Pilihan ini boleh merangkumi perubahan pada jumlah perlindungan, perubahan pada struktur premium/sumbangan dan pertukaran kepada polisi berbayar.” Penanggung insurans am dan pengendali takaful am akan memudahkan permohonan fleksibiliti daripada pemegang polisi dan peserta takaful yang terjejas membayar premium atau sumbangan ketika tempoh berkenaan bagi memastikan perlindungan risiko berterusan ke atas harta benda dan perniagaan mereka.

“Pemegang polisi dan peserta takaful dinasihati supaya menghubungi penanggung insurans dan pengendali takaful masing-masing untuk memanfaatkan fleksibiliti ini bagi menguruskan polisi dan sijil mereka,” katanya. Selain itu, bank pusat itu akan mempertimbangkan cadangan daripada penanggung insurans dan pengendali takaful membabitkan penggunaan metodologi alternatif pengiraan caj risiko kadar faedah dan kadar keuntungan.
