Over the past days, the Covid-19 infection has seen an upward trend in the capital Tehran and some other Iranian provinces, according to Kianush Jahanpur, head of Public Relations and Information Center of Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
The rate of infection in Teheran currently stands at 13%, while the provinces of Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi and East Azarbaijan have recently witnessed rising infection as well as more death cases, he said. Earlier in the day, the health ministry announced the infection of 24,811 people with the virus, of whom 1,934 have died.Article type: free
