NRP coordinating minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said there were examples of a significant drop in hospital and intensive care unit admissions in countries such as the United Kingdom where vaccination rates were around 40%, indicating that the number of serious cases dropped as more people get vaccinated.
"The NRP is dynamic. If there is a drop in cases and most infections are not serious, then the daily number of cases is not the correct indication for progression in the plan anymore," he said in an interview on Agenda Awani on Friday .
