SEREMBAN: Members of the public have been told that taking photographs or videos at public health facilities without prior approval is prohibited, after a clip of a doctor getting into an argument with his patient at a government clinic here went viral.

Acting state health director Dr Mohamad Faid Abd Rashid said this was simply not allowed to safeguard the privacy of other patients seeking treatment at such facilities."It is our hope that the public would understand why photography or videography is not allowed and strictly adhere to this," he said in a statement.

"We had also called her personally to get more information on what happened and would like to state it has been resolved," he said, adding that the department viewed the matter seriously. In the clip, the doctor could be heard shouting at the complainant and a man believed to be her father, in his room. The woman, who allegedly recorded the incident, claimed she went to seek treatment at the clinic after coming down with flu and cough.

The patient then went back and told the pharmacist of what the doctor had told her and was again asked to wait.

from the story, I can assume it is a very lazy doctor.

transparency is better. if the video did not come to light, then the public wouldn't have known about it.

Well if something wrong done, 1st thing to do is ban. So how the wrong doings will come out or the victims get a proper judgement. KKMPutrajaya kkmm_gov will soon apply to SKMM_MCMC to charge person who takes video. So when make a complaint it can easily covered up.
