KUALA LUMPUR: Bekas Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak memfailkan saman terhadap bekas Peguam Negara, Tan Sri Tommy Thomas serta kerajaan Malaysia kerana menuduhnya di mahkamah dan menuntut ganti rugi hampir RM2 juta.
Menurut semakan mahkamah, kes saman itu ditetapkan untuk pengurusan kes secara dalam talian di hadapan Timbalan Pendaftar, Nurliana Ismail pada 19 November ini. Jelas Ahli Parlimen Pekan itu, Tommy telah bersikap prejudis terhadapnya sebelum beliau didakwa di mahkamah.Selain itu, bekas Peguam Negara itu didakwa telah menyalahgunakan kuasa bagi memenuhi rancangannya untuk memenjarakan Najib.
Najib turut mendakwa 35 pertuduhan yang dikenakan terhadapnya; kecuali pertuduhan membabitkan kes penyelewengan dana SRC International Sdn. Bhd., merupakan sesuatu yang telah lama dirancang oleh Tommy.
