More Malaysians feel country heading in right direction, survey finds

While the Merdeka Centre's survey finds Malay and Chinese sentiments on the country's direction showing an improvement, Indian sentiments have taken a dip over the past few months. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 20, 2019.

OVERALL sentiments on the direction the country is taking has jumped four percentage points, the latest survey on public perception showed. Those who felt that the country was headed in the right direction increased from a low of 34% to 40% in June 2019, said the Merdeka Centre for Opinion Research.
