“Saya menzahirkan rasa bimbang terhadap kecenderungan pihak-pihak tertentu yang menjadikan masjid dan surau sebagai platform awal untuk berhimpun yang tentunya boleh mengganggu-gugat fungsi masjid sebagai pusat penyatuan umat Islam,“ menurutnya dalam kenyataan hari ini susulan usaha pihak tertentu mengadakan perhimpunan di ibu negara.
“Semua pihak dimohon supaya akur serta menghormati titah Tuanku-Tuanku Sultan agar tidak menyalahgunakan masjid dan surau untuk aktiviti berbentuk politik kepartian,“ katanya.
