Ismail Sabri appeared to be acknowledging reports of the rise in abuse cases happening in families amid the movement of control order — a period where all Malaysians are told to stay at home to curb the spread of Covid-19. He said that the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry was working together with the police via special hotlines that victims of domestic violence and child abuse could contact.

“If there are reports that you wish to report to the police, Malaysians can lodge reports online, such as through WhatsApp directly to the police, and the police can take action immediately based on complaints received,” he added.

Why not call the police for immediate response and action. Since women's ministry supports being abuse.

Call the hotline and get Advice to forgive the abuser?! 🤔

I thought the ministry encouraged victims to keep quiet and continue to be abused?

Does hotlines like Talian Kasih make it easy to report? The abuser could be eavesdropping. It shld be speedy and for serious cases, perhaps, Press 007(example) for police to come to your home. Addres as per hp or housephone details. The victim can be beaten if caught calling.

Financial distressed will caused all these undoubtedly! Be Undying and Unfaltering in any situation as there will be Silver-lining end of the tunnel.
