Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob speaks at a press conference after chairing the Special Ministerial Committee on the MCO meeting today. - Bernama: There will be no more compromise for those who violate the Movement Control Order , particularly for repeat offenders who will face five years of imprisonment.

They can be jailed for a maximum of two years or fined up to RM10,000 or both upon conviction, he said. Ismail Sabri said the cumulative arrests for defying MCO since March 18 to date stood at 7,759 individuals with 373 of them had been charged in court.
