Melaka Chief Minister's secretary Datuk M.S. Mahadevan said the decision to cancel the event was reached after a meeting was held with traders from Jalan Bendahara here on Monday night .
"The decision was also made as part of the preventive measures to flatten the curve of Covid-19 in the state," he said in an interview on Tuesday . On Monday, Melaka witnessed 13 zones being categorised as Covid-19 yellow zones with 16 Covid-19 positive cases.
