KUALA LUMPUR 7 Mac – Setiausaha Agung DAP, Lim Guan Eng hari ini menempelak MCA yang bersungguh-sungguh menyerang kerajaan dan juga dirinya, tetapi bersikap sebaliknya terhadap ‘rakan’ mereka, UMNO dan Pas.
Guan Eng berkata demikian ketika mengulas kenyataan Presiden MCA, Datuk Seri Dr. Wee Ka Siong yang meminta Lim bertanggungjawab dan disiasat pihak berkuasa kerana kenyataannya berhubung kerjasama UMNO-Pas didakwa sebagai satu hasutan yang boleh membakar kebencian antara kaum dalam negara ini. Lim yang juga Menteri Kewangan berkata, permintaan MCA agar dirinya disiasat itu tidak menghairankan kerana ia merupakan permainan politik yang datang daripada parti lawan.
“Tentulah mereka akan minta tindakan diambil atas parti lawan tetapi untuk kawan-kawan baharu di dalam UMNO dan Pas mereka tidak akan berbuat demikian. “Pada masa sama, saya pun hendak persoalkan bagaimana MCA boleh berdiam diri apabila Pas atau UMNO serang kami kerana kita berikan peruntukan untuk sekolah Cina dan kenapa Pas dan UMNO boleh diam bila MCA serang saya berhabis-habisan kerana luluskan peruntukan untuk sekolah agama dan tahfiz,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas melancarkan Dana Transformasi Pendigitalan Industri di sini hari ini.
