The ministry in a written response posted on the Parliament website here Thursday said that slow-moving sales coupled with disproportionate operating costs caused tenants to cease operating at the premises.
Ismail had asked about the status of Mara digital malls at Medan Mara in Kuala Lumpur and in Shah Alam in Selangor; as well as Kuantan, Pahang and Johor. The ministry said the Mara Digital Mall in Kuala Lumpur was still operating with 11 lots and 16 kiosks involving 11 entrepreneurs, with annual sales totalling RM4,670,250 as of August this year, while the one in Shah Alam ceased operating in March 2018 to give way to upgrading works on the Shah Alam Urban Transformation Centre .

MARA should setup a committee involving experts, mainly in the marketing side as its feasibility study prior to opening. The only lacking factor here is promotion + marketing. The fact is, MARA is not an expert in marketing, get the right one to do it.
If say digital mall for all rakyat Malaysia, confirm business better than Lowyat. BUT.....
