His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia is now the proud owner of the special edition " GOLD 1 " number plate after a winning bid of RM1.5mil. It marks the highest-ever amount paid for a number plate in the country, and the money will be channelled to the Federal Government .
Earlier, His Majesty granted an audience to Transport Minister Anthony Loke at Istana Negara, where Loke presented His Majesty with the number plate.
