MRCS administrator B. Jayadhurkha said donations had dropped by 70% due to the downturn in the business of the companies.

Jayadhurkha said the society used to run fundraising campaigns every year but could not do so in the last two years due to the pandemic. The Easy Transfer programme is aimed at providing the people with a safe and effective means of transportation such as from their homes to medical facilities or even pickups from the airport, bus and train terminals.
