KUALA LUMPUR: Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng is demanding that Batang Sadong MP Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri retract her claim that he had described the people of Sarawak as"greedy beggars".
"I want to categorically deny that I have never made such a statement to the people of Sarawak. I hope she can retract her statement," said Lim.However, Speaker Dewan Rakyat Tan Sri Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof told Lim that the matter should first be referred to the Parliament's Hansard and as well as for this to be raised when Nancy was present in the Dewan.
