Spencer graduated from the University of Bristol in 1982, having been educated for seven years before that at the Christ College Brecon in the UK.
Alongside his wife Felicity Kiplatrick - Christ College’s learning strategies head at that time - he looked after two boarding houses at the school. Known as an incredibly great and inspirational figure to staff and students, Spencer was a very caring person who would never miss his daily routine of greeting them.
“He will not be forgotten but dearly missed and profoundly remembered. Despite the fact that he is no longer with us today, the traits and values that he inculcated in us will remain. We are very thankful to him for his impact on us.
Great man. May his soul Rest In Peace.
