The second and third placings went to Ester Prati Mili from Bintulu Vocational College and Alya Hazirah Mohamad Isa from Dato’ Undang Haji Muhamad Sharip Vocational College, respectively.The competition, organised by the Vocational Education and Technical Training Division of the Ministry of Education, held on Oct 13-18, was divided into 21 categories that tested the skills of Vocational College students who had won their respective State-level competitions in the field of their study.

Three judges consisting of leading chefs evaluated the cooking results,” he said.Dr Sirhajwan said Keningau Vocational College represented Sabah/Labuan in three categories. Apart from cooking, two cosmetology students Shamsiah Dumandan and Maylisa Ivyina Telis competed in the beauty therapy category while Alvent Chin Kian Wen from automotive technology competed in the automotive category.
Director of Keningau Vocational College, Nordin Akup, who was also present during the prize presentation ceremony, expressed his pride in the success of the college team.
