KENINGAU: Keningau Vocational College Special Education teacher Nurfaizah Mohd Shokri was selected as the winner of the World Changer Award for October 2023 by the Special Education Network and Inclusion Association (Senia) for her contribution in educating students with special needs.

Nurfaizah, who is also the Head of the Special Education Department at the college, started working as a special education teacher at the college since 2010 and took on the role of head of the Special Education Department in 2021.The Special Education Department at the college is the only inclusive vocational college in Malaysia that offers an inclusive programme for neurodivergent students in her college.
