JABATAN Pengairan dan Saliran mengeluarkan notis kesiapsiagaan kemungkinan banjir kilat melibatkan Pulau Pinang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Terengganu, Sarawak dan Sabah setakat 4 petang ini.
Di Perak melibatkan Hilir Perak, Kerian, Larut, Matang dan Selama, manakala Melaka di Melaka Tengah; Pulau Pinang , sementara Selangor pula di Klang dan Petaling. Menurut JPS notis itu dikeluarkan bagi membolehkan semua penduduk terutamanya di kawasan yang berisiko berwaspada dengan sebarang kemungkinan berlakunya banjir kilat bagi tempoh tersebut.
Penumpuan angin dijangka turut berlaku di Selat Melaka selama empat hari bermula Isnin ini yang berpotensi menyebabkan pembentukan garis badai.
