KOTA KINABALU: Restrictions on the movement of people into Sabah's interior districts must be tightened immediately to control the spread of Covid-19, says Keningau MP Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.

KOTA KINABALU: Restrictions on the movement of people into Sabah's interior districts must be tightened immediately to control the spread of Covid-19, says Keningau MP Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan .

He said that he has been briefed on the Covid-19 situation in the interior of Sabah so far and added that the situation is still under control. He said that those in the interior should know that this is a serious crisis and act as if a lockdown is in force to stay safe. She urged people not to speculate, and added that a member of the hospital's staff who had gone outside the district before the movement control order could have been exposed to the virus.
